Assumed strategic and operational leadership

As of April 1, 2026, Jörg Sturm serves as the Spokesperson for the Management Board of Stauff Germany. He succeeds Helmut Ahrens, who, after more than 25 years of service, is set to retire later this year.

Jörg Sturm holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics, has studied Business Administration, and possesses extensive management and sales experience within the fluid technology sector. Together with Technical Managing Director Carsten Krenz, he forms the dual leadership team of Stauff Germany, assuming strategic and operational leadership and responsibility for the company. Stauff Germany is not only the birthplace and headquarters of this dynamically growing enterprise but also serves as the driving force for the entire international corporate group—acting as the primary production site for key components such as tube fittings, clamps, and quick couplings, as well as the home of the company’s Development and Technology Center.

Headquartered in Werdohl, the Stauff Group develops, manufactures, and distributes line components and hydraulic accessories for mechanical and plant engineering, as well as for industrial maintenance. The product portfolio comprises approximately 50,000 standard components, alongside custom-engineered special products and system solutions for applications in sectors including mobile and industrial hydraulics, vehicle manufacturing, and the energy, process, and marine industries. Through its own subsidiaries and a global distribution network, Stauff ensures high product availability and provides expert service capabilities. The corporate group employs approximately 1,500 people worldwide and generated external sales of around 306 million euros in 2025.
